With seaviews across the bay, Sunnyside is a spacious 2-storey holiday house and is ideal for couples travelling together or trade & corporate visitors to Port Broughton.

Sunnyside has 3 bedrooms – king, double, queen; sleeping up to 6 people. Quilts and pillows are provided, but guests will need to bring their linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats & tea-towels) with them for their stay, or linen can be hired through the Country Getaways office.

Upstairs adjoining the master king bedroom, is an ensuite bathroom with bath, separate shower and toilet; and with an additional toilet on the second level of the holiday house. The main bathroom with shower and toilet is downstairs.

There is reverse cycle ducted air-conditioning through the accommodation at Sunnyside, with ceiling fans in all bedrooms and in the upstairs living area.

The open plan living area upstairs comprises the kitchen, dining and lounge rooms, and the adjacent balcony has outdoor seating with 180-degree seaviews of the bay.

The upstairs lounge room has sofa seating, and a large smart television with USB & HDMI ports.

The kitchen at Sunnyside is well equipped with a gas cooktop & oven, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, and medium fridge with freezer on top.

Downstairs, the lounge has a large smart television with USB & HDMI ports. The nearby kitchenette has a gas stove, medium fridge/freezer and microwave.

Sunnyside's laundry is fully equipped for any length of stay with a top load washing machine, clothes dryer, iron and ironing board.

Outside, guests can relax in the undercover entertaining area overlooking the rear yard, with seating and a gas barbecue.

Pets are welcome inside at Sunnyside by prior arrangement with Country Getaways, and the rear yard has a 4-foot fence. If you would like to bring a pet with you for your stay, just let the Country Getaways staff know when making a booking.

For those coming to fish at Port Broughton, there are fish cleaning facilities in the rear yard, and off-street parking for a boat; and the boat ramp or kitty or just a short drive away.

With access from Dollings Lane at the rear of the holiday house, there is off-street parking for 2 cars or 1 car and a boat.

Sunnyside is an excellent accommodation choice for couples holidaying together, or for trade or corporate clients needing Port Broughton accommodation, offering a selection of spacious bedrooms and with multiple bathrooms.

The main street of Port Broughton is just a 15-minute walk away, with dining options including cafes, bakeries, takeaway, and the Port Broughton Hotel overlooking the jetty. There is also a supermarket, chemist, hardware store and more; plus playground facilities and a grassed foreshore area.

Refundable Bonds

Security Bond

  • A refundable security bond may be payable for a property; a bond may also be required in lieu of credit card details for security prior to obtaining key details.

Pet Bond

  • At a pet friendly property, a minimum $100 refundable pet bond is to be paid (refer to Terms & Conditions).
  • If an online booking has been made & Country Getaways has been advised that you are bringing a dog, you authorise that the $100 refundable pet bond is processed to the card used for the booking transaction.

Long Weekends, SA Schoolies & Peak Season Bonds

For any bookings on long weekends, SA schoolies & peak season; a $250 refundable security bond is to be paid by credit card prior to obtaining key access details (not applicable when a property bond is already in place).

Please note for any reservations where a debit card is used as a form of payment, a $250 refundable security bond must be paid.

Port Broughton is ideally located in the northern Yorke Peninsula and is a popular starting point for a range of holiday adventures.

With its close proximity to the Copper Coast towns of Moonta Bay, Kadina and Wallaroo, and nearby southern Flinders Ranges, and Clare Valley wineries within easy driving distance, Port Broughton is a great destination for your next Yorke Peninsula stay.

The waters off the town are popular for fishing, with a long T-shaped jetty and excellent boat launching facilities. It's also a popular sailing spot, and has its own sailing club.  The 9-hole golf course with year-round watered greens is popular with golfers both local & visiting.

Dining choices are plentiful in Port Broughton with 2 hotels, a club and several cafes and eateries in the town, popular Palate 2 Palate restaurant.

As you would expect crabs, oysters and King George whiting taste as if they were straight off the boat – why not stop off at Grandax to purchase local crab meat and other seafood.

Port Broughton also has a chemist, supermarket, newsagency and bakery.

Nearby Fisherman Bay is just a short drive to the north of Port Broughton. This area is aptly named and a popular fishing and holiday spot.
