Port Rickaby

Once you get to Port Rickaby, on Yorke Peninsula’s western coastline - you tend to want to stay!

Drive through colourful farmland to get to Port Rickaby, and admire the different crops in various stages of growth. Port Rickaby has only one way in and one way out, so it certainly has that ‘hidden’ and secluded feel about it.

Port Rickaby is popular for visitors and holiday makers and the family friendly beach is definitely a gem. During summer, swimming lessons are held through the VacSwim program.

The long jetty is great for swimming and fishing (please note the jetty is undergoing repair from storm damage). Many "shacks" line the beach - just cross the road and you are on the beach.

A small shop services the Port Rickaby Caravan Park also provides basic supplies for holiday makers. Minlaton is just a 10 minute drive away for everything you will need and has a large supermarket, butcher, bakery, hardware store, variety shop and more.

While at Minlaton, stop into the multi-award winning Harvest Corner Visitor Information Centre for local crafts, tourist information and tea rooms.

Port Rickaby is located just over 2 hours drive from Adelaide.
