Located at Stansbury, The Shack is a holiday house just one street from the beach.  Walk to the cafe, supermarket, shops and the Stansbury Dalrymple hotel.  

This accommodation is close to the beach without the beachfront price -  a great spot to have a break with your family.

This holiday rental property has three bedrooms with a queen bed, 2 bunk beds and a queen. Bring your own linen (sheets, pillow cases and towels) - pillows and quilts supplied. There is one bathroom with a bath. 

Reverse cycle air conditioning with ceiling fans in bedrooms. The kitchen features granite bench tops and stainless steel appliances including dishwasher, microwave and large refrigerator/freezer.

There are two television areas with flat screen plasma televisions, both with DVD's, CD player and radio.  Barbecue, outdoor seating, front loader washing machine and sheltered fish cleaning area.

Costing calculation:
Rate x Number of nights + Cleaning Fee + $25 administration fee = Total Price

All rates are quoted per night in AUD.

Refundable Bonds

Security Bond

  • A refundable security bond may be payable for a property; a bond may also be required in lieu of credit card details for security prior to obtaining key details.

Pet Bond

  • At a pet friendly property, a minimum $100 refundable pet bond is to be paid (refer to Terms & Conditions).
  • If an online booking has been made & Country Getaways has been advised that you are bringing a dog, you authorise that the $100 refundable pet bond is processed to the card used for the booking transaction.

Long Weekends, SA Schoolies & Peak Season Bonds

For any bookings on long weekends, SA schoolies & peak season; a $250 refundable security bond is to be paid by credit card prior to obtaining key access details (not applicable when a property bond is already in place).

Debit Cards

Please note for any reservations where a debit card is used as a form of payment, a $250 refundable security bond must be paid.

Refundable bonds are only to be processed to a credit card.

The property cleaner will advise the bond status following your departure, and your bond less any debits, will be refunded within 14 business days of your date of departure via the method paid.

The seaside town of Stansbury is located at Oyster Bay, on the eastern coastline of Yorke Peninsula. It’s sheltered bay draws boaties, swimmers, water-skiers and windsurfers to enjoy the aquatic activities.

There is an excellent 3-stage walking trail that surrounds the town and beaches.  The trail commences at Mills Gully, before heading along the foreshore, to the cemetery and ends at Pitt’s Cutting.

The Stansbury Playground is a fantastic stop for families, with children of all ages enjoying the play equipment and nearby beach.

With a supermarket, butcher, chemist, hardware store, takeaway and coffee shop the township has everything you will need for your stay.  The Dalrymple Hotel overlooking the bay is a great spot for a meal, or a drink on the deck.

The popular Stansbury Seaside Markets are held from October to May, and are a great way to sample the local produce, crafts or grab a bargain.

Stansbury is located approximately 2 ½ hours drive from Adelaide.
