Located on the Copper Cove Marina at Wallaroo, Cutty Sark is a holiday house named after the famous British tea clipper ship built in 1869 and now on display in Greenwich, London.

In homage to the Cutty Sark, a replica of the ship’s bow can be seen on the marina side of the holiday house, and it’s image is created in mosaic on the driveway.

Cutty Sark has 3 bedrooms – queen, double, 2 bunks; sleeping up to 8 people. Quilts and pillows are provided, but guests will need to bring their linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats & tea-towels) with them for their stay, or linen can be hired through the Country Getaways office.

The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a shower & toilet; and in the main bathroom there is a bath & shower, with separate toilet.

There is ducted air-conditioning throughout the accommodation, and pedestal fans are located in all bedrooms.

There are 2 lounge areas at Cutty Sark, both with large televisions with USB ports & DVD player; as well as Foxtel channels, CD player & radio. The queen & double bedrooms also have televisions.

Cutty Sark has a fully-equipped kitchen with a microwave, gas stove, dishwasher, Puratap water filter, large fridge with freezer on top & bar fridge.

The laundry has a top load washing machine, clothes dryer, iron & ironing board.

Outside, the rear yard overlooking the marina is secure with a 4 foot fence, and the undercover entertaining area has seating & dining options, along with a hooded gas barbecue.

Small to medium dogs are welcome outside at Cutty Sark, just let Country Getaways know that you will be bringing a pet when making your booking.

With its marina frontage location, Cutty Sark has a pontoon with tie-up points for securing your boat.

There is off-street parking in the driveway for 2 vehicles, or room for 1 car and a boat.

Cutty Sark is just a 10 minute walk to North Beach or a short drive to the beach; and Wallaroo’s township with shopping & dining options is just a 5 minute drive away.

About Wallaroo Marina

Wallaroo Marina is located in the Copper Coast, near the top of Yorke Peninsula on the western side.

The Copper Cove Wallaroo Marina, is situated just to the north of the main township and is popular for residential houses and holiday homes. With its twisting waterfront homes, the marina at Wallaroo is popular for retiring farmers and holiday makers.

The Wallaroo Heritage & Nautical Museum is worth a visit.  It relives the fascinating history of the town, which was once a busy port that delivered copper to the world. George the Giant Squid is also a popular attraction at the museum.

The town jetty is popular for divers with many types of sea life to discover and explore and is perfect for fishing.  But, if you’re not a fisherman, seafood is fresh and plentiful from the many retail outlets around town.  Or if you want to fish but don't have your own boat, several fishing charters operate from the town's boat ramp, and would be able to show you the best fishing spots.

Wallaroo is a well serviced town containing everything you would need within a short walk or 5 minute drive from your accommodation.

Wallaroo Marina is approximately 2 hours from Adelaide.
