Sturt Bay

Located between Port Moorowie and Point Davenport Conservation Park on the southern coastline of Yorke Peninsula, Sturt Bay is a secluded location perfect for those wanting to connect with the natural environment.

With coastal scrubland, conservation and marine parks, and stunning coastline, the drive along South Coast Road provides plenty of opportunities for photographers.

Great fishing can be found, with Sturt Bay popular for mullet fishing from late March through to winter, or head offshore launching a boat from nearby Foul Bay to target King George whiting in the deeper waters.

The beach at Sturt Bay is 19.3 kilometres in length, and is accesible via a private road.
