Jack's Shack at Black Point offers the perfect opportunity to slow down and experience traditional beachside shack living in an absolute beachfront location.

Positioned right on the coastline with uninterrupted sea views and direct steps to the beach, Jack's Shack captures the relaxed simplicity of a classic seaside getaway, where days are spent fishing, swimming, reading, playing board games and enjoying time together away from the distractions of everyday life. With no television provided, guests are welcome to bring their own device if they wish to access streaming services, although Jack's Shack is equally suited to those looking to embrace a true digital detox while enjoying the peaceful surrounds of Black Point.

Sleeping up to 7 guests, Jack's Shack features 3 bedrooms comprising a queen bed, trio bunk, and bunk (2 single beds), and accommodates a maximum of 6 adults. Quilts, blankets and pillows are provided for guest comfort, however guests are required to bring their own sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats and tea-towels, or optional linen hire is available.

The bathroom includes a shower over a toddler bath, vanity and toilet, providing practical facilities for families and small groups enjoying a beachside stay at Black Point.

Jack's Shack is equipped with reverse cycle split-system air-conditioning in the living area to help keep guests comfortable throughout the seasons.

Outside, Jack's Shack truly embraces its spectacular beachfront setting with a large undercover entertaining area overlooking the beach and offering uninterrupted coastal views. Outdoor dining table and seating create the perfect space for relaxed meals by the sea, while deck chairs and a sun lounge invite guests to sit back and soak in the peaceful surroundings. A Weber Q gas barbeque is available for outdoor cooking, and a fire pit provides a cosy place to gather in the evenings, with guests required to bring their own wood and observe local fire regulations.

About Black Point

Some would say Black Point is one of the most prized beachfront holiday locations in SA. About 150 "shacks" line the white crescent shaped shores where swimming, fishing, crabbing and waterskiing are daily aqua activities.

With many of the "shacks" at Black Point now more elaborate than the average home, Country Getaways has family friendly accommodation options to suit everyone's needs and budgets.

You can launch your boat at the boat ramp, or could go raking for crabs at low tide. Whichever you choose, you are bound to get a feed.

These holiday homes are serviced by nearby Pine Point where the small shop has newspapers, basic supplies, fuel and a liquor store.

For all your other shopping requirements, head to the town of Ardrossan where the Foodland has a variety groceries and departments.

Black Point is approximately a 2 hour drive from Adelaide.
