Beachfront on Rossiters

With uninterrupted beachfront views of Moonta Bay, Beachfront on Rossiters is a holiday house with plenty of history & direct beach access to the Moonta Bay beach.

Originally built around the early 1900's and renovated since that time, the house was known for many years as The Light Keepers House with the Tiparra Reef Lighthouse located just offshore.

Beachfront on Rossiters has 4 bedrooms – queen, queen, 2 singles & trundle, single; sleeping up to 8 people. Quilts and pillows are provided, but guests will need to bring their linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats & tea-towels) with them for their stay, or linen can be hired through the Country Getaways office. A portacot is supplied, and guests need to bring all bedding to use.

There is a bathroom inside the house with a walk-in shower, bath, vanity & toilet; and a 2nd bathroom (external to house) located 4 metres from back door with walk-in shower, vanity & toilet. 

The lounge room & kitchen has reverse cycle split system air-conditioning. In the main queen bedroom is a ceiling fan, with a pedestal fan in the second queen bedroom.

There are 2 lounge rooms at Beachfront on Rossiters with the main lounge room having a large television (with USB & HDMI ports), sofa seating, board games & books.

In the second lounge room is sofa seating, bistro table seating, a large television, DVD player & DVD's.

The kitchen at Beachfront on Rossiters is fully equipped with an electric stove, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher & large fridge/freezer, plus a highchair for those travelling with toddlers.

At the rear of the holiday house is an undercover outdoor entertaining area, with dining seating, drinks fridge & flat plate gas barbecue overlooking the lawned area & fenced yard.

There is direct beach access across the road from the holiday accommodation through the Rossiters Point car park area, and after a beach visit there is an outdoor shower for guests to use.

There is off-street parking for up to 3 cars in the secure fenced rear yard, with room for a boat.

At the front of Beachfront on Rossiters, the balcony has seating for relaxing & enjoying the views across the bay from Moonta Bay jetty in the north to Port Hughes towards the south.

The Moonta Bay jetty, beach, Splash Town water park and dining precinct around a 5 minutes' walk away from Beachfront on Rossiters along the coast following the Walk The Yorke beach walk.  Or jump in the car for a short drive south to Port Hughes Tavern, jetty & boat ramp.

Moonta is a 5 minutes' drive away for shopping & dining options including a supermarket, hardware, chemist, butcher, hotels, cafes, pharmacy and a range of shops along the main street precinct.
