Jennie's Place

Jennie's Place is a spacious and welcoming two-storey holiday house located in Moonta Bay, ideal for a relaxing coastal getaway, with multiple indoor and outdoor living areas to enjoy.

Jennie's Place has 3 bedrooms – a queen and double bedroom located upstairs, and a second queen bedroom downstairs; sleeping up to 6 guests. Quilts, blankets and pillows are provided for all beds, and guests can choose to bring their own linen or arrange optional linen hire through the Country Getaways office.

The upstairs main bathroom has ensuite access from the queen bedroom and features a walk-in shower, spa bath, vanity and toilet, while the downstairs ensuite bathroom offers a walk-in shower, vanity and toilet with assistance rails for convenience. A hairdryer is also provided.

Ducted air-conditioning throughout the accommodation ensures year-round comfort during your stay, no matter the season. The combined dining and lounge area downstairs includes a television and comfortable seating, with a large dining table adjacent to the well-equipped kitchen.

The kitchen at Jennie's Place offers everything needed for a self-catering holiday, including an electric stovetop and oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine (guests will need to bring Nespresso-compatible capsules or purchase locally), coffee plunger, and large fridge with freezer on top. A wide range of small appliances are also available for guests to use, including a coffee grinder, kettle, toaster, stickmixer, toastie maker, electric knife, citrus juicer, food processor, bread maker and ice-cream maker.

For those needing to work remotely or looking for a quiet retreat, Jennie's Place offers an office and reading room downstairs, complete with seating and a desk. WiFi is available for guest use, and entertainment is provided with a selection of board games, books, a CD player and radio.

Upstairs, guests can relax in the spacious sitting room or enjoy the sunroom which offers distant sea views and access to the large balcony. The balcony at Jennie's Place features seating, and is the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or evening drink while taking in the views towards the Moonta Bay coastline.

Laundry facilities at the holiday house include a top load washing machine, iron, ironing board, clothes airer and a pull-up clothesline located at the rear of the house.

The outdoor entertaining area under the leafy pergola overlooks the rear yard and includes dining seating and a hooded gas barbecue, perfect for relaxed holiday meals. The tiered backyard is unfenced and there is a rose garden and lawned area at the front of the house.

Undercover parking is available for 2 cars in the carport, with off-street driveway parking for another 2 vehicles.

Jennie's Place is located just a 3-minute walk from the beach, and a 10-minute stroll to the Moonta Bay jetty precinct and Splash Town water park. Within an easy drive from the property, guests can explore the historic township of Moonta with its shopping, dining and local attractions, or head to nearby Port Hughes, Kadina and Wallaroo.

Experiences within easy drive of Jennie's Place include visiting the Moonta Mines Museum, enjoying a meal at the local pubs and cafes, or spending the day swimming, fishing, exploring walking and cycling trails or relaxing by the sea.
