Located less than 200 metres from the Moonta Bay beachfront, Bliss At The Bay is single-level holiday house perfect for a couple or a family holidaying on Yorke Peninsula.
Sleeping up to 6 people (maximum 5 adults), Bliss At The Bay has 2 bedrooms – queen, trio bunk (double on bottom, single on top) and bunk. Quilts and pillows are provided, but guests will need to bring their linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats & tea-towels) with them for their stay, or linen can be hired through the Country Getaways office.
The holiday house has a bathroom with bath, walk-in shower, vanity and a separate toilet. Outside is an additional toilet and outdoor shower.
Bliss At The Bay has reverse cycle split system air-conditioning in the centrally located open plan living area, comprising the dining space and kitchen. Ceiling fans provide cooling in the master bedroom and dining area, with pedestal fans available.
Bliss At The Bay has a well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven and stovetop, microwave, fridge with freezer on the bottom, airfryer, and Caffitaly coffee machine.
The holiday house has bar stool seating at the kitchen island, with the dining space having a large dining table and wall-mounted television.
A separate air-conditioned lounge room is located off the entertaining area at the rear of the house, with sofa seating and a large wall-mounted television (with USB and HDMI ports). Guest staying at Bliss At The Bay have access to a range of books and board games during their stay, with complimentary WiFi access available.
Laundry facilities at the holiday house include a top load washing machine, and a rotary clothesline in the fenced yard.
Guests staying at Bliss At The Bay can enjoy the large undercover outdoor entertaining area, with shaded blinds to semi-enclose the outdoor space. There is outdoor seating and dining, a flat plate gas barbecue, additional fridge, wall-mounted fan and speaker system with festoon lighting for nighttime entertaining.
The rear yard is fenced, making it a secure space for children and pets to enjoy the lawned area and large yard. The outdoor shower at the side of the holiday house provides a private space for showering off sand after returning from the beach, and there is an additional toilet located by the shower.
Pets are welcome outside at Bliss At The Bay by prior arrangement with Country Getaways. Just let the Country Getaways staff know when making a booking if you would like to bring a pet with you for your stay.
For those coming to fish, Bliss At The Bay offers a fish cleaning sink within the rear yard, and there is parking for a boat behind the fence. The Moonta Bay jetty is a short walk away for jetty fishing, or the boat ramp is just a short drive away to the south from the holiday house, those keen on fishing can join a charter with an experienced guide departing from Port Hughes.
The shallow waters of Moonta Bay are a great spot for raking Blue Swimmer crabs when in season (months with an 'r' are the best for raking), and crab rakes are available for guests to use during their stay.
There is undercover carport parking for 1 car, with off-street driveway parking for another car, and space in the fenced rear yard for a car and boat.
Bliss At The Bay is just a short walk to the Moonta Bay beach, along nearby Francis Place for direct beach access to Simms Cove Beach.
Less than 5 minutes' drive away, Moonta has shopping facilities including a supermarket, hardware, chemist, cafes & boutique retail stores. There are dining options near the jetty precincts at both Moonta Bay & Port Hughes.
