Sunny Side Up

Located in Moonta Bay, Sunny Side Up offers a comfortable coastal getaway for families or small groups looking to enjoy a relaxing stay on Yorke Peninsula, with the single-level holiday house providing easy access for guests to the indoor and outdoor areas.

Sunny Side Up sleeps up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms, comprising a master king bedroom, queen bedroom and a bedroom with 2 single beds. Quilts, blankets and pillows are provided, and guests can bring their own sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats and tea towels, or hire linen through the Country Getaways office. A portacot is available for guests to use, with guests needing to bring their own bedding.

The master king bedroom at Sunny Side Up includes a large wall-mounted television and walk-in robe, along with an ensuite bathroom offering a walk-in shower, vanity and toilet. The main bathroom has a bath, walk-in shower and a separate vanity, with a toilet located off the bathroom.

Sunny Side Up has ducted reverse-cycle air-conditioning throughout for year-round comfort.

The spacious open plan living area includes the lounge room, dining area and kitchen, with direct access to the fenced rear yard and outdoor entertaining space. The lounge room has comfortable sofa seating and a large wall mounted television, with toys, games and board games for guests to enjoy.

The fully equipped kitchen offers an electric oven and stovetop, microwave, filtered water, dishwasher, large fridge with bottom freezer, and a Nespresso coffee machine for which guests can bring standard compatible pods or purchase locally. Additional amenities include a kettle, toaster, sandwich press, air fryer and stick mixer. The dining area has a large table along with bar stool seating at the kitchen counter, and a highchair is provided for younger guests.

For guest convenience, Sunny Side Up has a front load washing machine, iron, ironing board, clothes airer and a pull up clothesline.

Outside, the undercover entertaining area offers outdoor dining and seating with a hooded gas barbecue, and the fenced rear yard has a lawned area, sandpit and an outdoor cricket set for family fun.

Parking includes a secure garage with space for 2 vehicles, plus driveway parking for 2 cars and room for a boat.

Sunny Side Up is within easy walking distance of the Moonta Lifestyle Estate and is a 20-minute walk to the Moonta Bay beach, or a short drive to Splash Town water park during the seasonal opening period, as well as the Moonta Bay and Port Hughes jetties.

Within a short drive from the holiday house are the shops and dining options of Moonta, with attractions including the Moonta Mines National Heritage Area, Moonta Mines Museum and tourist railway. Port Hughes and Wallaroo are within easy reach, providing additional dining, fishing and coastal experiences during your stay at Sunny Side Up.
