Clipper Getaway

Just 10 minutes' walk to the Point Turton beach, Clipper Getaway is a single-level holiday house with spacious rooms and a large, fenced yard.

Clipper Getaway has 4 bedrooms – queen, queen, queen, 2 bunks (4 singles); sleeping up to 10 people. Quilts and pillows are provided, but guests will need to bring their linen (sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats & tea-towels) with them for their stay.

The master queen bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, vanity & toilet; and the main bathroom has a bath, walk-in shower & vanity, with a separate toilet.

Clipper Getaway has reverse cycle ducted air-conditioning throughout the holiday house for year-round comfort.

There is a spacious open plan living area comprising the kitchen, dining & lounge room, with direct access to the large rear deck overlooking the rear yard.

The lounge room has cane lounge seating with a large television (with USB & HDMI ports), CD player & radio.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine & large fridge/freezer; and is adjacent to the dining area.

Kids and adults will enjoy relaxing in the retreat with a large television (with USB & HDMI ports), DVD player, DVD's, board games, bean bags & tabletop arcade games.

The laundry at the accommodation is fully equipped with a front load washing machine, iron, ironing board, and a fold-up clothesline in the rear yard.

On the rear deck overlooking the lawned area in the fenced rear yard, is an outdoor entertaining area with seating & a flat plate barbecue.

Pets are welcome inside (wet areas only) at Clipper Getaway by prior arrangement with Country Getaways. Just let the Country Getaways staff know when making a booking if you would like to bring a pet with you for your stay.

For those coming to fish from Point Turton, there are fish cleaning facilities in the rear yard. The jetty & boat ramp are only a short drive away from the holiday house, or fishing charters can be booked which launch from the Point Turton boat ramp.

There is off-street parking in the driveway for 3 cars or 2 cars & a boat, with parking in the yard behind the fence.

Clipper Getaway is just a 10-minute walk from the foreshore and the Point Turton Tavern for great meals with a view over the bay. Point Turton has a great walking trail which is part of the Walk The Yorke trail, and kids will enjoy the nature playground and bike.

Point Turton has a takeaway, shop and fuel outlet; and nearby Warooka has a supermarket, hardware store & chemist; with Minlaton and Yorketown offering more shopping and services.
