BJ's Beach House comfortably sleeps up to 11 people, with a maximum of 8 adults. In the main house, there are 2 bedrooms – one with a queen bed, and another with a trio bunk (double on the bottom, single on top). The studio features a double bedroom, and a second bedroom with 2 sets of bunks, perfect for children. Quilts and pillows are provided for all beds, and guests are welcome to bring their own sheets, pillowcases, bathmats, towels and tea-towels, or linen can be hired.
There are 2 bathrooms at BJ's Beach House. The main house bathroom includes a bath, walk-in shower, toilet and vanity, while the studio has its own bathroom with a walk-in shower, vanity and toilet for added convenience.
The lounge room in the main house is equipped with a reverse cycle split system air-conditioner for year-round comfort, and pedestal fans are available throughout with portable heating in the master bedroom. The master queen bedroom has its own television with USB and HDMI ports. The lounge room offers a large television with USB and HDMI ports, DVD player, and a selection of DVDs for relaxing movie nights. There is also WiFi available for guests, along with board games and books to enjoy during your stay.
BJ's Beach House features a well-equipped kitchen in the main house with an electric stovetop and oven, microwave, coffee machine (guests need to bring Espressotoria-compatible capsules), coffee plunger and a medium-sized fridge with freezer on top. A range of appliances including a kettle, toaster, sandwich press, electric frypan and rice cooker provide everything needed for preparing meals at home.
In the studio, guests will find a kitchenette with a microwave, kettle, toaster, sink and fridge with freezer on top, as well as lounge seating and a dining table. The studio also includes ceiling fans in both bedrooms and the living area, plus a television with USB and HDMI ports.
For added convenience, the holiday house includes a top load washing machine, clothes airer and a rotary clothesline located in the secure rear yard.
Outside, BJ's Beach House offers a comfortable and well-appointed undercover outdoor dining area with a flat plate gas barbecue, perfect for alfresco meals. The secure rear yard is enclosed with a 7-foot fence, ideal for families, and there is a lawned area both at the front and back of the property.
Pets are welcome outside in the fenced yard by prior arrangement with Country Getaways. Just let the Country Getaways staff know when making a booking if you would like to bring a pet with you for your stay.
For those who enjoy fishing and crabbing, there are fish cleaning facilities and a crab cooker available for guest use. Parking is easy, with undercover carport space for 1 car, and off-street parking for an additional 2 vehicles, with room for a boat.
