Located on the main street and across the road from Stansbury’s foreshore, GOR-JESS is a spacious house ideal for a family holiday by the beach.

GOR-JESS can sleep up to 10 people across 4 bedrooms - queen, queen plus single & trundle, queen, and 2 singles. Quilts, blankets and pillows are provided for guests, but guests will need to bring their own linen and towels with them.

There is one main bathroom with a shower & toilet, plus a 2nd separate toilet.

The lounge room has reverse cycle split-system air-conditioning, and pedestal fans are provided in the bedrooms.

The large combined kitchen/dining area is well-equipped with an electric stove, cooktop, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave & small television. There is a coffee machine (bring your own compatible Nespresso pods) and a coffee plunger (bring ground coffee or purchase from the supermarket across the road).

There is a large television with USB port & DVD player in the lounge room, along with board games and a bluetooth speaker. There is a PlayStation 2 games console with some games.

Outside is plenty of outdoor seating along with a hooded gas barbecue, and the enclosed rear verandah is a great all-weather spot for relaxing.

The rear yard is secure and with a large lawned area and has expansive sea views of Oyster Bay and the Stansbury jetty.

Stansbury is a popular location for fishing from beach, boat or jetty and the boat ramp and jetty is just a short drive away. GOR-JESS has a shaded fish cleaning area near the fruit trees in the rear yard, with boat parking in the driveway. 

Stansbury is a great spot for catching Blue Swimmer Crabs and provides crab nets, rakes, tubs, crab cooking pot & burner.

There is off-street parking in the driveway off Anzac Parade with room for up to 4 vehicles and room for a boat; and angle street parking is accessible at the from of the house in Saint Vincent Street.

Costing calculation:

Refundable Bonds

Security Bond

  • A refundable security bond may be payable for a property; a bond may also be required in lieu of credit card details for security prior to obtaining key details.

Pet Bond

  • At a pet friendly property, a minimum $100 refundable pet bond is to be paid (refer to Terms & Conditions).
  • If an online booking has been made & Country Getaways has been advised that you are bringing a dog, you authorise that the $100 refundable pet bond is processed to the card used for the booking transaction.

Long Weekends, SA Schoolies & Peak Season Bonds

For any bookings on long weekends, SA schoolies & peak season; a $250 refundable security bond is to be paid by credit card prior to obtaining key access details (not applicable when a property bond is already in place).

Debit Cards

Please note for any reservations where a debit card is used as a form of payment, a $250 refundable security bond must be paid.

Refundable bonds are only to be processed to a credit card.

The property cleaner will advise the bond status following your departure, and your bond less any debits, will be refunded within 14 business days of your date of departure via the method paid.

The seaside town of Stansbury is located at Oyster Bay, on the eastern coastline of Yorke Peninsula. It’s sheltered bay draws boaties, swimmers, water-skiers and windsurfers to enjoy the aquatic activities.

There is an excellent 3-stage walking trail that surrounds the town and beaches.  The trail commences at Mills Gully, before heading along the foreshore, to the cemetery and ends at Pitt’s Cutting.

The Stansbury Playground is a fantastic stop for families, with children of all ages enjoying the play equipment and nearby beach.

With a supermarket, butcher, chemist, hardware store, takeaway and coffee shop the township has everything you will need for your stay.  The Dalrymple Hotel overlooking the bay is a great spot for a meal, or a drink on the deck.

The popular Stansbury Seaside Markets are held from October to May, and are a great way to sample the local produce, crafts or grab a bargain.

Stansbury is located approximately 2 ½ hours drive from Adelaide.
