Milliana House

Milliana House is a comfortable and well-equipped single-level holiday home located at North Beach, offering relaxed coastal accommodation for families and groups looking to enjoy an easy beachside getaway. Sleeping up to 6 guests, Milliana House provides plenty of space both inside and out, with thoughtful extras to help guests make the most of their stay at North Beach and nearby Wallaroo.

Milliana House features 2 bedrooms with 1 queen bed and 2 bunk beds accommodating 4 single beds. Quilts, blankets and pillows are provided for guest comfort, however guests are required to bring their own sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats and tea-towels; or optional linen hire is available through the Country Getaways office. A portacot is also available, with guests required to provide all bedding for use.

The bathroom at Milliana House includes a spa bath, walk-in shower, vanity and toilet, with the added convenience of a hairdryer provided.

Reverse cycle split system air-conditioning in the living area helps keep Milliana House comfortable throughout all seasons. The open plan living area combines the lounge, dining and kitchen spaces, creating an inviting area for guests to relax together after days spent at the beach. The lounge room offers sofa seating, a large television, board games and complimentary WiFi access for guests staying at the holiday house.

The kitchen at Milliana House is well equipped for holiday cooking and entertaining, featuring an electric stovetop and oven, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, and a large fridge with freezer on top. Guests will need to bring Nespresso-compatible standard capsules or purchase them locally. Additional appliances include a kettle, 4-slice toaster, toastie maker, airfryer, waffle maker and electric frypan. Bar stool seating at the kitchen counter and a large dining table provide plenty of room for meals and gatherings, while a highchair is available for younger guests.

Laundry facilities at Milliana House include a top load washing machine, iron, ironing board, clothes airer and pull-up clothesline located in the rear yard.

Outside, Milliana House offers a spacious undercover entertaining area complete with outdoor seating and dining, making it ideal for relaxed coastal living. Guests can enjoy use of the hooded gas barbecue with gas ring, crab cooker and pot, and bar freezer located in the entertaining area. Additional outdoor features include tennis and soccer game sets, boogie boards, a fish cleaning sink and a fire pit with a starter pack of wood provided (guests are required to bring any additional firewood and observe local fire regulations).

The fully fenced rear yard provides added space for families and pets to enjoy. Pets are welcome inside at Milliana House by prior arrangement with Country Getaways. Just let the Country Getaways staff know when making a booking if you would like to bring a pet with you for your stay.

The accommodation has plenty of parking space at the side of the house, with off-street driveway parking available for up to 3 cars, with room for a boat.

Milliana House is located less than 5 minutes' walk from beach access, making it easy to enjoy days swimming, fishing, beach walks and coastal sunsets at North Beach. A short drive takes guests into Wallaroo where shopping, cafes, restaurants and boat launching facilities are available.

Guests staying at Milliana House can also enjoy exploring the Copper Coast region including Wallaroo Heritage and Nautical Museum, the Wallaroo Jetty, local fishing charters, scenic coastal drives, and nearby Kadina and Moonta with their historic attractions, boutique shopping and dining experiences.
