Woodforde Palms

Woodforde Palms is a spacious holiday house at Wallaroo North Beach, perfectly set up for families or groups seeking a relaxing coastal getaway. With ample room for up to 10 guests, this self-contained accommodation combines comfortable indoor living with fantastic outdoor spaces designed for entertainment and leisure.

The holiday house features 5 bedrooms across the main house and external rumpus room. In the main house, there is a master bedroom with a king bed, and 2 queen bedrooms; and the external rumpus room includes a double bedroom and a bedroom with 2 single beds, making it ideal for teenagers or extra family members. Quilts, blankets and pillows are provided, and guests can bring their own sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats and tea towels, or arrange optional linen hire through Country Getaways.

Woodforde Palms has 2 bathrooms in the main house with an ensuite bathroom adjoining the master bedroom with a sunken spa bath, overhead shower, vanity and toilet. The main bathroom has 2-way access and includes a bath, walk-in shower, separate vanity and toilet; and is a semi-ensuite to one of the queen bedrooms.

There is reverse cycle split-system air-conditioning in the lounge room of the main house, as well as ceiling fans in the king and queen bedrooms. The rumpus room also has reverse cycle split-system air-conditioning in the lounge and ceiling fans in both bedrooms, ensuring year-round comfort.

The spacious lounge room in the main house offers comfortable chaise seating and a large wall-mounted television with USB and HDMI ports, along with complimentary WiFi for guest use during their stay.

The open plan living space includes the kitchen and dining area, with additional lounge seating and a dining table with bench seating. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, filtered water, large fridge with freezer, and coffee machine (guests should bring Nespresso-compatible pods or purchase locally). Smaller appliances including a kettle, toaster, air fryer and electric frypan are also provided.

The external rumpus room has its own lounge room with sofa seating, a television with Google Chromecast, a small bar fridge and kettle.

The enclosed alfresco entertaining area at Woodforde Palms is accessible from the living area and lounge room, and is perfect for year-round use, with lounge seating, a dining table, wall-mounted television, ceiling fans, drinks fridge and a hooded gas barbecue.

Outside, guests can enjoy the in-ground salt water chlorinated swimming pool, surrounded by lawn and accessible via a pool safety gate. There is also an outdoor shower, gazebo, hammock, fire pit (guests must bring their own wood and observe fire restrictions) and a fenced rear yard.

The holiday house has plenty of parking available with undercover carport space for 2 cars (maximum clearance of 2.05m), plus driveway space for 3 cars, or 2 cars and 1 boat.

Woodforde Palms is just a 5-minute walk from the sandy shoreline of Wallaroo North Beach, making it easy to enjoy swimming, walking or fishing at any time of day.

Woodforde Palms is a wonderful base for a seaside holiday and is ideally located for exploring Wallaroo and the wider Copper Coast and Yorke Peninsula region. In Wallaroo, guests will find a range of shopping facilities, cafés, hotels and dining options, as well as attractions including the Wallaroo Jetty, Copper Cove Marina and the Wallaroo Heritage and Nautical Museum.

Within a short 30km drive, visitors can explore the neighbouring towns of Moonta, Moonta Bay, Port Hughes and Kadina, offering additional dining, shopping and family-friendly attractions such as the Moonta Mines Museum, Sweet Shop and miniature railway.
