Cracking View at Eighty-Two is a beautifully presented beachfront holiday house at Port Victoria, offering stunning sea views of the Spencer Gulf and across to Wardang Island. Ideally suited for families or couples travelling together, this spacious single-level holiday home accommodates up to 6 guests in comfort with everything needed for a relaxing seaside getaway.

The holiday house features 3 bedrooms – a king bedroom with ensuite, walk-in robe and wall-mounted television, a queen bedroom, and a third bedroom with 2 long single beds which can be joined to form a king bed if required. Quilts, blankets and pillows are provided, with guests needing to bring their own sheets, pillowcases, towels, bathmats and tea-towels or linen can be hired through the Country Getaways office.

The master king bedroom includes a private ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, double vanity, toilet and a walk-in robe. The main bathroom offers a bath, walk-in shower and vanity, with a separate toilet and its own vanity for added convenience. Both bathrooms are equipped with hairdryers.

Cracking View at Eighty-Two has ducted reverse cycle air-conditioning throughout, along with ceiling fans in each bedroom, the lounge room and dining area, providing year-round comfort.

The spacious open plan living area includes a comfortable lounge room, dining and a fully equipped kitchen, all with direct sea views. Relax in the recliner armchairs or enjoy the stunning views with the telescope provided. The lounge room has a large smart television with USB and HDMI ports, DVD player, board games, CD player and WiFi access for guest use.

The kitchen is well-equipped with a gas stovetop and electric oven, dishwasher, large fridge with top freezer, bar fridge, and a coffee machine (guests are to bring their own beans or purchase locally), as well as a stovetop percolator. The butler's pantry offers an extensive range of appliances including kettle, toaster, microwave, sandwich press, coffee grinder, stick mixer, food processor, airfryer and multicooker, along with a medium-size upright freezer. A large dining table and bar stool seating at the kitchen island complete the indoor entertaining space.

For guest convenience, Cracking View at Eighty-Two includes a front load washing machine, iron, ironing board, clothes airer and a pull-up clothesline.

Step outside to enjoy the undercover verandah and outdoor entertaining area, complete with sea views and café blinds for year-round use. A family Weber Q and baby Weber Q gas barbecue are provided for outdoor cooking, and guests can rinse off after a day at the beach using the outdoor shower.

Pets are welcome inside at Cracking View at Eighty-Two by prior arrangement with Country Getaways. Just let the Country Getaways staff know when making a booking if you would like to bring a pet (no cats) with you for your stay.

The fenced rear yard offers a secure space for children or pets, with off-street parking for 2 cars in the driveway, and secure shed parking for a car and 1 boat. Additional parking is available in the fenced rear yard for vehicles and a boat.

Cracking View at Eighty-Two enjoys an ideal location with uninterrupted views and direct access to the Walk The Yorke trail, with the marked path located just across the road. The beach is a short stroll away, while the Port Victoria jetty, museum and main street shopping and dining options are just a 15-minute walk or a quick drive from the property.

About Port Victoria

Port Victoria is located on the western coastline of Yorke Peninsula and has a wealth of maritime heritage for history lovers.

Anyone with a love for the sea and its history must visit Port Victoria, which is known as the last of the windjammer ports. The small Port Victoria Maritime Museum at the start of the jetty showcases the town's history and maritime heritage and is well worth a visit.

Today Port Victoria is a paradise for fishers and divers alike. The Port Victoria Jetty is long and popular with swimmers and fishers.

The Wardang Island Maritime Heritage Trail offers 8 shipwrecks surrounding the nearby waters off Wardang Island.  You can explore these and the underwater diving trail is very popular with divers. If you’re not a diver, there are 6 land-based interpretative signs.

The popular Port Victoria Geology Trail goes from south of the jetty for 4km to Rifle Butts Beach. Pick up a brochure for this trail from the local shop. There are also foreshore walking trails, stretching both north and south from the jetty.

Port Victoria has a hotel, takeaway and general store. Nearby Maitland is just 10 minutes drive to the north for all other needs including hardware store, chemist and bakery.

For something completely different you can experience 40,000 years of aboriginal dreaming, culture and heritage by joining a tour with Aboriginal Cultural Tours - Adjahdura Land, Yorke Peninsula. This award-winning tour operator has tours of nearby Point Pearce and its Aboriginal lands.  It also takes tour groups to Innes National Park at the foot of Yorke Peninsula.

Port Victoria is located approximately 2 hours from Adelaide.
